Kerri's Surgery

On Friday, February 27th, I will have surgery to remove my gallbladder. I am having the surgery because I have gallstones. Here is a link to a website with a great explanation of what/how/why, etc. http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/gallstones/#2
The surgery is outpatient and is being done laparoscopically.
My mom and grandmother will be here to help take care of Jake and Josh's Spring Break begins on Monday, March 1st. If I don't feel well enough to post on here myself, I will ask one of them to post an update. My mom and I are coming to realize that this is more common than we thought it was. I have had several friends and family members who have had this surgery. If you have had this done and would like to tell me about it, please feel free to send me an email or comment on this blog.

Welcome to the Burton Family blog. I decided that this is the easiest way to keep everyone updated on our family. I have good intentions of posting a blog everyday, but please don't hold me to it. :) I love the idea of being able to show Jake the blogs when he gets older...since most of them will probably be about him.
